Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit XBS Multi-Tool | Black

The Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit XBS Multi-Tool is made for the jobs that appear when you are away from the shed, out with gear, or working through small fixes on the move. It packs 25 lockable tools into a 105mm (4.1 inch) body, giving you pliers, cutters, screwdrivers, saws, files, scissors, and opening tools without needing a full toolbox nearby.

The burnished black steel finish is more than cosmetic. It gives the tool its darker look and helps improve corrosion protection, which matters when gear is handled outdoors, stored in vehicles, or carried in mixed conditions. The source notes that the finish may leave residue on hands during initial handling.

Tool coverage is the real strength here. Needle-nose pliers handle grip and control, while the wire cutters, wire bender, wire stripper, and cable cover cutters are useful around repairs and equipment setup. The large blade, scissors, wood saw, metal saw, file, chisel, scraper, reamer, can opener, bottle opener, and screwdriver set round it out for daily tasks.

At 208g (7.3oz), it has reassuring weight without being awkward to carry. Keep it in the included nylon belt pouch and it is ready for the small jobs that usually turn up when you did not pack a full kit.
