Vartsikhe Saperavi

[Vahrt-see-kee Sah-pear-ah-vee] 100% Saperavi, the most common indigenous Georgian grape which is deeply tannic with both red skin and red pulp. Winemaker Kakha Tchotiashvili adheres to strict ancient traditions in Georgian winemaking, utilizing traditional Qvevri, which are clay vessels dug into the ground.  Organic, wild yeast fermentation.  Lower in alcohol, high tannins, and bursting with deep, dark berry fruits.
