CRKT Freyr Outdoor Axe Hickory Handle 41cm

The CRKT Freyr Outdoor Axe takes inspiration from historic Scandinavian axe designs and adapts them for modern outdoor use. Designed by veteran axe maker Elmer Roush, it combines a deep beard profile with a balanced feel that makes it comfortable to carry and capable when work needs doing around camp.

The head is hot forged from 1055 carbon steel and finished with a magnesium phosphate coating to improve corrosion resistance. That combination delivers the toughness and durability expected from a hardworking outdoor axe. Paired with a Tennessee hickory handle, the Freyr offers a natural grip and dependable control whether you're preparing camp, processing wood, or tackling general outdoor tasks.

Good axe design does not need unnecessary complexity. The Freyr keeps things straightforward with proven materials, solid balance, and a shape that has remained effective for generations.

A strong choice for those who appreciate traditional axe craftsmanship backed by modern manufacturing and reliable outdoor performance.
